Group 1 South Pointe Honda is looking for Service Technician Trainee to join our Honda team!

 

We are growing and have immediate positions for Service Technician Trainee to work with our Quality Dealership representing the Quality Honda Product! Our Service Technicians should be passionate about customer service, take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about employees.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, and basic brake services.

  • Inspect and replace air, cabin, fuel, and other filters as needed.

  • Check and maintain fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, belts, hoses, and other vehicle components.

  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.

  • Identify maintenance or repair needs and communicate them to the service advisor.

  • Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership procedures.

  • Use automotive tools and shop equipment safely and properly.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Follow all OSHA, dealership, and safety requirements.

  • Assist other technicians and service department personnel as needed.

  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
