Overview

Group 1 Honda Kingwood is growing and looking to add an experienced Automotive Technician to our team at our high-volume Honda dealership!

 

We're seeking a seasoned technician with multi-brand repair experience who can diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles and is ready to build a long-term career with a Fortune 204 automotive retailer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and test automotive systems across multiple makes and models
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
  • Mentor and support less experienced technicians as needed
  • Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as an automotive technician working across multiple brands required
  • ASE Master Certification highly preferred
  • Additional ASE or manufacturer certifications a huge plus
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Own tools and tool proficiency
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
