Overview

Group 1 Automotive is growing and actively hiring Automotive Sales Professionals across multiple Bob Howard dealership locations in Oklahoma City and Edmond.

In this role, you'll guide customers through one of their most important purchasing decisions, helping them find the right vehicle while delivering an exceptional and hassle-free buying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, and warranties; conduct test drives and compare competitive models 
  • Prospect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers  
  • Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.  
  • Implement follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business 
  • Stay informed on product updates, inventory, and accessories to better serve customers 
  • Set and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards 

Qualifications

 

 
  • Proven sales experience (automotive experience is a plus, not required)
  • Strong motivation to succeed in a commission‑driven, performance‑based environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a high‑energy, customer‑focused approach
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
  • Self‑motivated, proactive mindset with a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment and a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR), and drug screening
