Overview

 

The Service Porter at Bob Howard Buick GMC plays a vital role in delivering a smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service experience. This position supports the service department by maintaining the flow and organization of vehicles, assisting service advisors and technicians, and ensuring the dealership’s service area reflects a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival
  • Safely move, park, and organize customer and dealership vehicles
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service drive, shop, and parking areas
  • Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle staging and delivery
  • Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel level, tire pressure, etc.) as needed
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in clean and presentable condition
  • Shuttle customers or pick up/drop off vehicles when required
  • Support overall dealership operations with additional tasks as assign

 

Qualifications

 

 
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance

Pay & Compensation
