Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, professional, and welcoming experience to every customer.
  • Process customer payments accurately using cash, checks, credit cards, and other approved payment methods.
  • Review repair orders and invoices for accuracy before completing transactions.
  • Reconcile repair orders and ensure all required documentation is complete.
  • Calculate charges for labor, parts, taxes, warranties, and other applicable fees.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile daily transactions.
  • Complete accounting portions of repair orders in accordance with dealership procedures.
  • Process and submit closed repair orders and related documentation daily.
  • Return vehicle keys upon payment and assist customers with directions as needed.
  • Answer incoming service department calls, transfer calls appropriately, and take detailed messages.
  • Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and office staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
  • Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous cashier, customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable handling cash and balancing daily transactions.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
