The Manager of Corporate Accounting is responsible for overseeing key corporate accounting functions and supporting the monthly and quarterly close processes. This role will lead a team of accounting professionals while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, maintain strong internal controls, and support the Company’s financial reporting and compliance requirements.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Provide performance management, feedback, and development opportunities for team members
Oversee corporate accounting activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly and quarterly close processes
Ensure accurate preparation, review, and approval of balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, balance sheet analytics and corporate results reviews
Manage corporate journal entries and submissions to the Consolidations team
Oversee accounting and analysis for self-funded medical reserves
Manage accounting and quarterly review of Property & Casualty (P&C) reserves, including coordination with Legal, Risk Management, and external stakeholders
Ensure reserve methodologies are applied consistently and supported by appropriate analysis
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and U.S. GAAP
Oversee governance processes, including Delegation of Authority updates and user access reviews
Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion of audit requests
Serve as a key liaison with Legal, F&I, Tax, Consolidations, and Internal Audit teams
Coordinate accounting activities across multiple entities and functional areas
Support compensation-related accounting, including bonus accruals and executive compensation
Prepare and present financial analyses, reporting, and Board-level materials to senior leadership, including preparation of Board materials
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
