Overview

Group 1 Genesis of Southwest Houston is seeking a high-performing and motivated New Vehicle Internet Sales Professional to join our team! This is an opportunity to build a six-figure career in a premium, luxury environment with strong digital lead volume, a collaborative culture, and significant earning potential.

 

We’re looking for individuals who bring professionalism, drive, and a customer-first mindset. Prior automotive sales experience is strongly preferred, but not required for candidates with strong communication skills and the ability to engage and convert customers in a fast-paced, technology-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with customers through phone, email, text, and online platforms to deliver a seamless buying experience
  • Respond promptly to all Internet leads and customer inquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement
  • Follow established scripts and processes to maintain consistency, compliance, and a high-quality customer experience
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, driving showroom traffic and supporting sales conversion
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of vehicles, features, pricing, and available services to confidently assist customers
  • Stay current on dealership policies, promotions, and procedures to ensure accurate and professional communication
  • Build rapport with customers, identify needs, and guide them through the vehicle purchase process
  • Set and consistently achieve personal performance goals aligned with dealership sales and productivity expectations

Qualifications

  • Proven customer-facing sales experience required, (automotive experience strongly preferred, but we hire for attitude, drive, and professionalism)
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Experience handling phone leads and Internet inquiries is a strong plus
  • Strong desire to succeed in a commission-driven, performance-based environment
  • Positive attitude with a high-energy personality
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
