Group 1 Buick GMC South is growing and looking to add Automotive Technicians of all skill levels—from entry-level to experienced and master-certified—to our team!

*Candidates without hands-on automotive experience must be currently enrolled in or have completed an automotive technician training program to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
  • Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive experience preferred
  • For candidates without hands-on automotive experience, current enrollment in or completion of an automotive technician training program is required
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude and team mindset
