Group 1 Automotive is actively hiring Automotive Sales Professionals for Bob Howard Hyundai  in Oklahoma City — and we’re looking for driven, people‑focused individuals who want to earn, grow, and succeed in a fast‑paced environment.

 

As an Automotive Sales Professional, you’ll help customers find the right vehicle while delivering an exceptional, stress‑free buying experience.

 

This role is perfect for competitive self‑starters who enjoy working with people, setting goals, and getting rewarded for their performance.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, and warranties; conduct test drives and compare competitive models 
  • Prospect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers  
  • Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.  
  • Implement follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business 
  • Stay informed on product updates, inventory, and accessories to better serve customers 
  • Set and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience (automotive experience is a plus, not required)
  • Strong motivation to succeed in a commission‑driven, performance‑based environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a high‑energy, customer‑focused approach
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
  • Self‑motivated, proactive mindset with a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment and a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR), and drug screening

 

In addition to competitive compensation, we offer
 
  • Performance‑based commission structure with uncapped earning potential
  • Estimated take‑home commission range: $60,000–$100,000+ annually, based on individual performance
    • Earnings are not guaranteed and vary based on sales results
  • Ongoing training, coaching, and advancement opportunities
  • High customer traffic at established Bob Howard Group 1 Automotive dealerships
