Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
  • Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items including tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and filters
  • Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures
  • Document all services performed and inspection findings accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services
  • Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skill set
  • Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a lube technician or automotive service experience preferred, but not required
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn automotive repair and maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical job duties
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
