Mercedes-Benz of Clear Lake, part of the rapidly growing Group 1 Automotive family, is now operating in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility! We are seeking experienced Flat-Rate/Flag Mercedes-Benz Service Technicians to join our high-performing team and represent the excellence of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

 

Our technicians play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. We’re looking for professionals who take pride in their work, are committed to quality and precision, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment that values and supports its employees.

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

• Minimum 6-months of Flag/Flat-Rate Automotive Technician experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
