What You’ll Do:

As an IT Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will gain practical experience working with programming, compliance, and data analytics functions within a modern and evolving technology environment. This role is designed to give you exposure to real projects and systems while sharpening your technical skill set.

Responsibilities include:

• Support programming tasks and contribute to development work on IT initiatives
• Assist with compliance-related documentation, reviews, and process validation
• Gather, organize, and analyze data for ongoing analytics projects
• Collaborate with the Director of IT and cross-functional team members on technology initiatives, utilizing modern tech stacks and robotic process automation (RPA) tools to support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field

• Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA

• Foundational programming or coding skills with familiarity in modern technology stacks, and a willingness to continue learning and expanding technical skills
• Strong coachability with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
