What You’ll Do:

 

As an Accounting Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable insights into the automotive industry while honing your accounting skills.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with general accounting processes
• Participating in month-end financial close activities
• Supporting financial analysis and reporting efforts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Conducting research and assisting with special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
