What You’ll Do:

As a Finance Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of corporate finance. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, you will work on real-world projects and initiatives that will enhance your skills and knowledge in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with financial analysis and reporting tasks.
• Conduct research on industry trends and market dynamics.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
