The Vice President, HR Business Partnership will lead the HR Business Partnership function across the U.S. operations, ensuring alignment of HR strategy with business priorities and delivering people solutions that drive performance, engagement, and growth. This leader will oversee a team of HR Business Partners who support the full spectrum of operations, corporate functions, and field leadership.

 

As a key member of the HR Leadership Team, the VP will act as a strategic advisor to senior executives while ensuring HR remains practical, responsive, and deeply connected to the realities of the business. This role requires someone who can bridge future-focused HR practices with on-the-ground business needs, helping leaders build capability, anticipate workforce challenges, and create a culture where people thrive and business results follow.

Responsibilities

 

Strategic Partnership

 

  • Serve as the senior HR advisor to U.S. leadership, translating business strategy into people strategy.
  • Partner closely with the CHRO and peers in Talent, Total Rewards, and other COEs to deliver integrated people solutions.
  • Use workforce data and business insights to influence decision-making and drive accountability for results.

Leadership & Team Development

 

  • Lead, coach, and develop the U.S. HR Business Partner team, ensuring they are seen as trusted advisors and problem solvers by business leaders.
  • Build a culture of proactive partnership; anticipating needs, not just responding to them.
  • Strengthen HRBP capability in organizational design, leadership development, employee engagement, and change management.

Business Enablement

 

  • Meet leaders where they are: provide grounded, actionable guidance that balances strategic perspective with pragmatic solutions.
  • Support field and corporate leaders in managing talent pipelines, succession planning, and capability building.
  • Drive manager effectiveness through coaching and development, enabling leaders to better attract, retain, and grow talent.

Change Leadership

 

  • Partner with leaders to navigate organizational change, ensuring clarity, communication, and alignment.
  • Champion adoption of enterprise systems (e.g., Workday) and new HR processes by helping leaders and teams understand the “why” and the “how.”
  • Serve as a role model for the company’s values and as a catalyst for culture-building efforts.

Employee Experience & Engagement

 

  • Ensure that HR Business Partners are a consistent and visible presence in the field, building trust with leaders and employees alike.
  • Use engagement survey insights and other listening mechanisms to identify workforce trends and implement targeted enterprise action plans.
  • Work with leaders to strengthen inclusion, equity, and belonging in everyday practices.

Qualifications

 

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including 7+ years in HR leadership roles.
  • Experience leading HR Business Partner functions in a multi-site, operationally complex business.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic priorities into practical people solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in coaching executives and influencing at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in organizational design, talent management, succession planning, and change management.
  • Hands-on leader who can balance strategic advisory with operational execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
