Sterling McCall Ford is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail.  We are looking to add a qualified WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR to our team. The Warranty Administrator is responsible for preparing, submitting, and following up on all warranty claims to Ford Motor Company, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies. This role plays a critical part in maximizing warranty reimbursement while minimizing audit risks.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working knowledge of warranty process to properly prepared repair orders to be summited to Ford. 
  • Correct and resubmit rejected claims promptly
  • Reconcile and process warranty credits and debits
  • Communicate with Service Advisor's and Technicians regarding claim documentation and warranty coverage
  • Maintain organized records of all submitted, paid, and unpaid claim.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on unpaid warranty claims
  • Ensure adherence to factory policies and procedures for all warranty transactions
  • Assist in preparing for manufacturer audits and address discrepancies as needed
  • Keep up to date with Ford warranty training, bulletins, and program changes

 

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator or in an automotive dealership service environment (Ford experience strongly preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Ford’s warranty procedures and systems (OASIS, DMS systems, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.)
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
