Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound sales phone calls, gather contract information, add prospect to Elead with notes that accurately reflect the conversation. 
  • Respond to leads and chats in timely and professional manner with proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. 
  • Follow up on, phone inquires and past customers to drive dealership traffic. 
  • Assertively pursue a dialog with each assigned prospect by phone, email and text. 
  • Prospect our existing customer base to identify and cultivate sales opportunities and promote retention and brand loyalty. 
  • Call through unsold showroom traffic, uncover the primary reason they chose not to buy during their visit and communicate that to management
  • Build rapport with each prospect, identify customer's needs, and provide the customer with tools and information needed to make a purchase decision. 
  • Actively communicate with Sales Manager to ensure each customer's needs have been met and notes are accurate and up to date. 
  • Earn and maintain BDC Representative and Sales Consultant certification with Toyota
  • Organizer must be up to date and all tasks completed daily 
  • Maintain and outbound call average of 80 or more calls per day
  • Maintain strong understanding of the dealership's vehicles, promotions, and services to provide accurate information to customers

Qualifications

  • 1 year previous experience in a call center, customer service, or automotive BDC preferred
  • Strong communication and active listening skills 
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of calls and emails
  • Proficiency in CRM software (eLeads) and basic computer skills 
  • Goal-oriented and motivated by performance-based incentives
  • Professional, friendly, and persuasive demeanor
