Internship Overview: As an M&A Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our M&A professionals on strategic projects and transactions. Under the guidance of experienced dealmakers, you will gain hands-on experience in all stages of the M&A process, from deal sourcing and due diligence to negotiation and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis on potential acquisition targets and market trends
• Assist in financial modeling and valuation analysis
• Prepare presentations and investment memos for senior management and stakeholders
• Support due diligence efforts, including data gathering and analysis
• Assist in the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions
• Support integration planning and post-merger integration activities

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
