Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage shop technicians, offering guidance, support, and training
- Collaborate with Director to achieve customer satisfaction and Group 1 Goals
- Assign work to technicians, ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards
- Monitor repair orders to meet deadlines and resolve issues or delays promptly
- Conduct inspections of work in progress and completed repairs to ensure quality and accuracy
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues, providing technical expertise to technicians
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance projects, ensuring efficient resource utilization
- Collaborate with parts and sales departments to maintain a smooth workflow and enhance customer satisfaction
- Stay current on industry trends and technological advancements to improve shop operations
Qualifications:
- KIA Certified/Trained (Required)
- Familiarity with Dealership Brand processes and technology
- Experience with CDK Dealer Services (a plus)
- Desire to work in a commission-based, performance-driven environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude with high energy
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a process-driven environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
