Overview

Group 1 Automotive, Inc., an international, Fortune 300 automotive retailer and a leading operator in the automotive retailing industry, has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced driven and hands-on Sr. Workday Analyst.

The Sr. Workday Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing and supporting the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS administration, exceptional analytical skills and a passion for streamlining processes to enhance the employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, troubleshooting and support for end-users across the organization
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance within the Workday system
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules, including but not limited to Core HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Talent Management and Time Tracking
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements and implementations, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business processes
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards and analytics to provide insights into HR data and trends
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate processes and enhance system functionality to improve overall efficiency
  • Provide training to end-users, HR professionals and managers on Workday system usage, best practices and new features
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices and new Workday releases to recommend and implement improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience as a Workday Analyst or in a similar HRIS role
  • Strong expertise in Workday HCM administration, including configuration, security and report development
  • Experience with Workday integrations and data management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Workday Certified Professional designation preferred
  • Project management experience
