Overview

Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail, is looking to add a qualified Online Reputation and Social Media Specialist at our corporate office in West Houston.

 

Are you passionate about protecting and shaping a brand’s online presence? As our Online Reputation and Social Media Specialist, you’ll be the guardian of our digital image. From responding to customer feedback to addressing negative reviews, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our reputation platform, social media accounts and interacting with our managers for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor and address customer feedback, issues, and emerging trends across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure timely resolution of shopper concerns and complaints.
  • Monitor online reputation to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and execute custom reputation management strategies aligned with industry best practices and shopper needs.
  • Track, measure, and report the impact of reputation management efforts using relevant tools and metrics.
  • Create and curate engaging content that fosters positive engagement and strengthens brand sentiment.
  • Analyze customer feedback and reviews to extract actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and reputation efforts.
  • Collaborate with managers and internal teams to implement cohesive strategies for brand protection and growth.
  • Leverage systems and analytical tools to drive performance and enhance reputation efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in reputation management and social media.
  • Strong knowledge of reputation platforms and their functions.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
